borrows Mark's car and controller.

2010 FALL RACE SCHEDULE

RACE #1
Tom's Racerway  SEPTEMBER 4TH
Tom wins with G6 all Polymer Class SuperStock
Mark finishes 2nd with a Ceramic SuperStock in
Expert class

Eric wins with  G6 all Polymer Class SuperStock
Morgan finishes Second with G6 all Polymer Class SuperStock in Amateur Class

Because of the extra 60% of downforce of the all Poly G6 they will have to be run in their own class in all future racing. 
New Class will be G6 Polymer SuperStock

Tom wins with Ceramic SuperStock with Mark finishing 2nd and Glenn in 3rd in Expert Class

the Endurance race at JimWilliams Raceway(Williamsville)

Mike, our team was Mark, me, Oscar and another guy named Nelson Mark ran together and we ended up winning by 69 laps! We started on the outside gutter blue lane and were only down by 36 after the first heat. We then went to the fast green lane and put 102 laps on everybody in the heat propelling us to a 61 lap lead over Benny;s team and 66 over Gary Morgans team and 190 over Jim Williams team. We also set the only 1000+ lap heat for the race! The 3rd heat we went to the other gutter and gave up 30 laps to Jim Williams team which we weren't really concerned with at that point but more importantly we only gave up 10 laps to Morgans team with them on one of the middle lanes, Benny's team ran into more gear problems (all race long) and were230 laps behind us at this point out of contention. So with the last heat starting we had a 51 lap lead over team San Diego (Morgan) and they were going to Blue lane and we were on the Yellow lane. We ran well the first 45 minutes or so and started having electrical problems with what we thought were pickup shoes so we stopped to change them and that helped for a while but the problems persisted so we would have to stop about every 2 or 3 minute till the end of the race to clean them. After the race we discovered we  had about 1/32 of an inch of motor brush left! We had about 6.5 hours of racing on the endbell because I ran the same car at Eddies April for about an hour there plus practice and practice at Jim's and 5 hours of racing. It was a good long ride home but we were pretty tired. I think that Morgans team was second, Jim Williams team recovered to take third and Benny's team was last. I don't know the final lap totals but will send them when I get them. We ran a new ceramic grade polymer G3 car to victory. Glenn

Road trips are fun and this last trip to
Eddie Torres Raceway was simply FUNTASTIC!!

In SuperStock Glenn and Mark made the main with
Gary Morgan, Ben Vasquez, Eddie Torres
and Anthony Odea (19 entries)

After the first heat Glenn had the lead with Ben just a couple of laps behind with Gary within a couple of laps of Ben and Mark falling behind another 4 laps by the end of heat 2. At the end of heat 3 Mark had caught up a lap on Glenn and had pulled into second place 8 laps behind Glenn. In heat 4 Mark pulled 9 laps on Glenn  with Gary in the lead and Glenn in 3rd. In heat 5 Gary extended his lead by 1 lap with Glenn and Ben within a couple of laps of each other. In heat 6 Mark and Gary fought tooth and nail for first with Mark finishing at 360 laps, Gary 358 laps and Ben taking 3rd (349) with Glenn one lap behind in 4th, Eddie finished 5th and Anthony 6th.

In Modified, Mark made the main with Eddie Torres, Paul Katata, Oscar Morales, Ben Vasquez and Jim Williams. (16 entries)

Oscar took the lead in Heat 1 with 78 laps over Ben with 76 laps, Mark with 75 with Eddie and Paul and Jim with 63 having some problems. In Heat 2 Ben took the lead with Oscar in 2nd and Eddie-Paul tied for 3rd. In Heat 3 Mark with Eddie & Paul tied for 2nd and Ben in 4th and Oscar 3 laps behind. In Heat 4 Mark did another 81 laps again breaking the track record with Eddie in 2nd and Paul & Oscar fighting over 3rd. In Heat 5 Mark pulled another 5 laps on the field and Eddie securing 2nd and Paul in 3rd. In Heat 6 Mark set another track record of 83 laps and fastest race lap of 1.990 which was another record. Mark finished with 467 lap setting a new track record with Eddie at 442 laps for 2nd, Paul finished 3rd with 430 laps, Oscar finished 4th with 421 laps, Ben finished 5th with 418 laps and Jim smoked only running 1 & 1/2 heats.

Best Race of the night for one racer was the Drop-in-Neo with Mark, Glenn and Pete making the main with Ben Vasques, Gary Morgan and John Cukras. (12 entries)

Ben looked to be the car to beat from the start with John and Mark close behind. In Heat 2 Gary pulled enough laps to tie Ben for the lead with Pete pulling into 3rd place and Mark smoking then John Smoking and Glenn loosing a pinion all out of the race.

FOR PETE THIS WAS A DREAM COME TRUE BECAUSE WITH 3 CARS OUT HE WOULD FINISH ON THE PODIUM!!

    Ben and Gary had a great fight for 1st but Ben's car was too much for Gary and Pete's car slowed down and he did not run the last 1 1/2 heats.

Ben finished with 607 laps, Gary 550 laps, Pete 401 laps, John 168 laps, Glenn 143 laps and Mark with 106 laps.

CONGRATS TO THE ALL THE WINNERS AND ESPECIALLY TO PETE FOR MAKING THE PODIUM WITH A 3RD IN NEO.

Larry TQs in Amateur SS and Mark Jr wins the Main event with Larry having handling issues in the Main Event.

Mark Sr TQs in Expert SS with a 2.632 only 1 hundredth off the track record. Tom with some bad traffic gives Mark the win in the Main Event, setting a new Track Record with 136 Laps.

Winter Series Finale

Race 6

Tom R wins final race to take the Expert Championship, what an awesome race because is heat 1 Glenn (Storm) looked to be the car to beat but Tom drove an excellent race for the win with a T2!!!!

Larry S wins the final race for the Amateur Championship and takes the Amateur Championship with a T2!!!

Both winners using MRT ARM's!!

I don't know what the hell you're doing to these arms, but keep doing that shit! LOL!
I'm going to have to stock up on more Storm stuff. The G arms were for Mustard.
The car was so fast and had so much snap in the gears that Rob Hayes (BSRT driver) stop his car and asked if I was running metal gears and was amazed that I was running circles around his shit. No lie, I instantly saw the fear in his eye.
He's a VERY tough act to follow but he was definitely bewildered at this damn Natural Disaster, forget calling it a Storm that I was running -LOL!

April 18th @ Eddie Torres (Schor) Super Scorpion ROAD TRIP

Mark Won SS(MRT Arm) and Modified, finished 2nd in NEO with Jim Williams Winning NEO, Glenn TQ'd in SS(MRT Arm) and 3rd in NEO, Al Thurman finished 2nd in SS(MRT Arm) and 5th in NEO and Larry Stewart taking 4th in SS(MRT Arm), with a total of 15 racers.
To top off the weekend had dinner at Sizzler, great
 dining and fun weekend!!!!!!!!!

Bob Colleran called last night and he set a new track record and won the race at one of the local races,
I believe it was a tri oval track, CONGRATS BOB!!!

Mark wins SuperStock race with SCHOR in California, with aT2 and finishes 3rd in Modified. Glenn Finishes 2nd in Neo , Modified and 3rd in SuperStock with a T2. Eddie Torres finished 2nd with a T2 in SuperStock. Jon Thueich wins Modified and Jim Williams wins NEO. Congrates to all the Winners and Racers.
